New Zealand has no embassy in Nigeria and no biometrics requirement for Visitor Visas. That sounds simple — until you realise it also means there's no interview to redeem a weak file. INZ decides on the paperwork alone. Audit it first.
INZ uses one test more than any other for Nigerian Visitor Visa applications: the bona-fide test. It asks one question — does this applicant genuinely intend to leave NZ when the visa expires? Every refusal we've reviewed cites a file that couldn't answer it.
Not income. Not nationality. Not the case officer having a bad day. These three.
INZ uses the bona-fide test to decide whether you genuinely intend to leave New Zealand at the end of your visit. This is their #1 refusal driver. A single tie (just employment, just family) doesn't survive the test — they want at least three independent return-intent anchors documented in the file.
Any large deposit in your bank statements you can't paper-trail (sale of property, family transfer, dividend) triggers an INZ Request For Further Information. RFIs don't refuse you — they add 6–8 weeks to your processing and frequently lead to refusals if the response is weak.
If you state a stay of more than 6 months, you must provide a Chest X-ray Certificate (INZ 1096) from an INZ-approved panel physician. Most Nigerian applicants miss the panel-physician requirement and use a regular hospital — INZ rejects it. We tell you exactly which Lagos panel to use.
We audit your file against the same gaps INZ uses to raise Requests For Further Information — so INZ has nothing to ask. A clean file gets decided in the standard 25–35 day window. A file with gaps gets stretched another 6–8 weeks.
INZ online application reference + passport + 3-month bank statements + employer / sponsor docs. We don't need anything else to start.
Your file is checked line-by-line against the actual bona-fide patterns INZ uses for Nigerian applicants. Written report in your dashboard.
We rewrite the bona-fide narrative, restructure the financial trail, and ensure your health declaration matches your stay length. You submit a file INZ can decide on without an RFI.
All plans include the service guarantee. If we make a review error, your service fee is refunded in full.

No. There is no NZ embassy or consulate in Nigeria. All Visitor Visa applications from Nigerian nationals are submitted online via the INZ portal (immigration.govt.nz) and processed at the Auckland Visa Centre. There is also no Lagos VFS for NZ — biometrics are not required for Nigerian Visitor Visa applicants. This makes NZ administratively simpler than Schengen or UK, but it also means your file is your only chance — there is no interview to redeem yourself.
The bona-fide test is INZ's way of deciding whether you genuinely intend to follow your visa conditions and leave New Zealand at the end of your stay. It is the single biggest refusal driver for Nigerian applicants. INZ weighs your stated purpose against ties to your home country (employment, family, property, ongoing business) and immigration history. A file with only one or two ties almost always fails. We rewrite your file to document at least three independent ties.
Standard processing is 25–35 business days from submission. Peak season (November–March) extends to 6–8 weeks. The biggest cause of delays past 35 days is INZ issuing a Request For Further Information (RFI) because your file had a gap. We front-load document quality specifically to prevent RFIs.
Only if you intend to stay more than 6 months. The certificate is INZ 1096 and must be issued by an INZ-approved panel physician — a regular Nigerian hospital chest X-ray is not accepted. We tell you exactly which Lagos panel to book. For stays under 6 months (typical tourist visits), no TB X-ray is required.
A Request For Further Information is INZ asking you to supply documents or explanations your initial file didn't cover well enough. Most RFIs target the same issues: unexplained deposits, weak return-intent, mismatch between stated trip and accommodation, or health declaration ambiguity. SwiftPass audits the file pre-submission against these exact gaps so INZ has nothing to ask.
No, and any agent who tells you they can is lying — INZ makes the decision, not the agent. What we can guarantee is that your file will be the strongest version of itself: every bona-fide trigger checked, every weak section rewritten, every supporting document calibrated to INZ format.
No. The SwiftPass fee is our file-audit + preparation fee. You still pay the INZ government visa fee (NZD ~$246, approximately ₦300,000) directly to Immigration New Zealand at submission. We never touch those funds — INZ takes them via the official portal.
If the INZ refusal letter cites a trigger that our audit report marked as cleared, you get a full refund of your SwiftPass fee within 90 business days. We can't refund INZ fees — those are paid to a different party. Our refund covers our work. Note: for visas applied for from outside NZ, INZ does not allow formal reconsideration — your strongest move is a fresh application with the refusal letter addressed point-by-point.
Three checks anyone can run. (1) SwiftPass Global, LLC is a Delaware-incorporated US entity (EIN 98-1841660) — verify us on the Delaware Division of Corporations registry. (2) We never take INZ fees — those go directly to Immigration New Zealand at submission. (3) Every applicant gets a written audit report inside their SwiftPass dashboard, signed and timestamped. If any agent tells you to wire them the INZ fee, walk away.
Your fee is processed by Stripe, which operates a 120-day chargeback window for any service not delivered. Every case step is logged in your dashboard with timestamps. If we go silent for 72 hours during business days, you have a documented dispute trail.
Audit your file first. Submit clean. Walk in the 25–35 day window — not the 8-week RFI penalty box.
